'Low Tide' Limited Edition Screen Print

Experimented with laying a transparent blue over the print to simulate some parts of the reef being exposed and some submerged. Final touch was the water ripples in a transparent white around the exposed coral and critters. Inspired by the water changes I used to do on my aquarium which would expose a lot of the coral. A whopping 11 colours/screens used which is no surprise given the vibrancy of a reef.

Numbered, titled and signed on heavy Legion Jacob Cover Warm White Wove Finish 300gsm paper.

Shipped in a plastic sleeve in a cardboard re-enforced flat mailer for protection.

Screen printing is a process where separate colors are printed one at a time using a silk screen and in my case, a hand-held squeegee.
